Primary Purpose

Receive and process client walk-in or phone orders, inquiries, and/or issues covering items or products ordered along with showroom sales and inquiries from walk-in clients. Accountable for meeting sales targets associated with Linde Canada sleep business.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Educate clients and fit for CPAP Therapy equipment
  2. Meet store sales and margin targets, working with Territory Manager and Customer Service Team
  3. Work with Sleep Labs to ensure client therapy needs are met and government billing forms are completed and submitted in a timely manner
  4. Perform customer service activities including receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, tracing order status or product shipments and resolving problems
  5. Stock shelves and set up promotional materials
  6. Work with vendors to educate all staff on CPAP therapy products
  7. Provide complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data and ensure ongoing accuracy of customer information
  8. Support the Territory Managers, balancing time between inside sales and customer service duties along with helping the team to achieve a targeted sales budget.
  9. Collect payments to ensure customer accounts are current

Required Qualifications

Education:

  1. High School Graduate

Experience:

  1. A work history focusing on customer satisfaction is a pre-requisite
  2. Must have the ability to “up sell”

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  1. Excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills
  2. Drive to exceed sales and margin targets
  3. Time management skills, able to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  4. Results oriented, organized, and able to set priorities and follow through on tasks
  5. Manage relationships with current and new customers, as well as referral sources
  6. A commitment to safety is a must and the desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  7. Self-motivated and capable of working with minimum supervision
  8. A safety conscious team player who works well with others
