Job summary

Four Rivers Co-op in Vanderhoof, BC, is hiring a customer service-focused retail associate. You will process customer transactions, manage multiple payment methods, and uphold the company’s values of responsibility, integrity, service and excellence.

The role requires teamwork, accuracy, and a friendly, efficient approach in a busy store environment. Ideal candidates bring POS experience, knowledge of agricultural products is a plus, and a commitment to a safe, respectful workplace.

• Work collaboratively with team members to provide friendly and efficient service to our customers
• Stock shelves, maintain product displays, and merchandise products as required
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment

What You Bring:

• Strong computer skills, with experience using Point-of-Sale systems
• Knowledge of agricultural and livestock products would be considered an asset
• Adaptable, organized, efficient, and committed to providing excellent service
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
• Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting as required
• Previous customer service experience would be considered an asset
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful work environment
• Results-oriented with a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to team success
