Job Description

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will assist members by providing product and service information, resolving complaints, and assessing risks for automobile and property policies.

The core responsibilities include:

  1. Responding to telephone inquiries and written requests, processing changes, applying underwriting standards, assessing risks, and handling account inquiries.
  2. Resolving product and service issues, clarifying complaints, determining causes, selecting solutions, and following up to ensure resolution.
  3. Attracting potential members by answering questions, providing information, and meeting sales objectives.
  4. Processing rewrites and remarketing following established guidelines.
  5. Filing and documenting insurance transactions, maintaining rate manuals, and updating coverage information.
  6. Maintaining logs and reviewing contentious issues with management as needed.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An AIC license.
  • Completion or commitment to complete CIP Principles and Practice, Property 1, and Automobile courses or equivalent.
  • Experience in personal lines automobile and property insurance is an asset.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
