The SPCA Roussillon is a charitable organization whose mission is to help animals in distress, without owners or neglected. We offer animal services for a territory of more than 35 municipalities in the area. We welcome families from all over Quebec and surrounding provinces to our adoption center, which enabled more than 1,200 animals to find families last year.

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This person will work mainly in the reception and adoption section of the shelter.

Description of tasks:

1. Greet customers with respect and courtesy
2. Complete the opening of a file for the entry of stray and surrendered animals
3. Guide and advise families in the adoption process (visit, signature of the contract, payment of fees)
4. Ensure that catteries and exotic animal rooms are cleaned daily according to our biosecurity protocols
5. Ensure that our cats and exotic animals for adoption have everything they need for their comfort.
6. Socialize cats and exotic animals for adoption and become familiar with their personality and behavior
7. Perform any other task related to the adoption and entry of animals (cleaning, disinfection of cages, etc.)

Skills that we are looking for:

1. Respect for all animals and concern for their well-being
2. Comfortable working near cats, dogs, exotic animals and wildlife
3. Thoroughness, reliability and organization
4. Ability to collaborate with other team members
5. Availability to work on weekends
6. Oral and written bilingualism (English and French)
