Job summary

A leading human resources organization in Ottawa is seeking a Customer Relations and Business Development Specialist for the Maia Project. This full-time, hybrid role involves guiding clients and partners, developing strategic relationships, and enhancing user experiences. Employment type: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday

You will work within the Réseau des Femmes d'affaires du Québec (RFAQ, a well-established and rapidly growing organization recognized for over 40 years for its impact on women entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders.

What you'll do as Customer Relations and Business Development Specialist – Maia Project

As a Customer Relations and Business Development Specialist – Maia Project, you will be the human anchor of the platform. Your role is central: ensuring an exceptional client experience, developing lasting business relationships, and actively contributing to the adoption and visibility of Maia. You will turn every interaction into an opportunity and every relationship into tangible value for the RFAQ and its partners.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Customer Experience and Support
  • Welcome and guide users and partners throughout their journey.
  • Lead onboarding through demonstrations, presentations, and personalized follow-ups.
  • Provide proactive support to maximize adoption, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Collect feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
Business Development and Partnerships
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with companies, institutions, and key partners.
  • Identify new collaboration and growth opportunities.
  • Support the commercialization of Maia’s offerings and assist in closing agreements.
  • Represent Maia at strategic events and activities.
Coordination and Follow-up
  • Act as a liaison between users, partners, and internal teams (product, technology, deployment).
  • Track performance indicators related to customer experience and business opportunities.
  • Produce reports and recommendations to improve relational and commercial processes.
Essential Qualifications
  • Significant experience in customer relations, business development, or partnership management (3–5 years minimum).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Project management skills and experience tracking performance indicators.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and collaborative platforms (CRM, Office/Google Suite, client tracking tools).
  • Proactive, rigorous, and solution-oriented mindset.
