Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a friendly associate to support customer service, checkout operations and store standards in a community-oriented setting.

You will greet customers, process purchases, handle cash and PC Optimum, and keep aisles tidy while following health, safety and uniform policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and positively engage with all customers.
• Maintain a neat and organized checkout area.
• Greets all customers and displays warm demeanor.
• Accurately scans or enters product data.
• Accurately accounts for cash and coupon, lottery, and PC Optimum.
• Ask for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction.
• Ensures proper documentation with respect to receipts and returns.
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (facing, signing, labeling).
• Implements loss prevention standards and controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.
• Presents proper image to the public per Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines.
• Complies with health and safety regulations and store policies.
• Performs other duties as required.
