Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented associate to support health, beauty and convenience services across the checkout and merchandising areas.

You will deliver excellent customer service and ensure accurate cash handling and transactions. In this role you will greet customers, scan products, maintain an organized checkout, merchandize shelves, follow loss prevention standards, and uphold store policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and positively engage with customers.
• Maintain a neat and organized checkout area.
• Greet customers and display a warm demeanor.
• Accurately scan or enter product data.
• Accurately account for cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum.
• Request PC Optimum Card from customers at checkout.
• Merchandise and maintain designated areas (facing, labeling, etc).
• Follow loss prevention standards and controls for cash, lottery, and stamps.
• Present a professional image per Uniform Policy and Dress Code.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and store policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
