Job summary

Senior Helpers Mississauga Central is hiring caregivers with experience in assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, senior living facilities, nursing homes, home care or healthcare to make a real difference in the lives of seniors. You’ll provide compassionate in-home support, help with daily activities, and foster independence.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate (if you have this qualification).
• Valid Driver's Licence - G2 or G.
• First aid and CPR certificate must.
• Vulnerable sector police check within the last 12 months must.
• Caring and Compassionate—you enjoy helping others.
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients.
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance a Plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist with IADLs and ADLs as assigned.
• Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities.
• Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.
