Job summary

Senior Helpers Mississauga Central is hiring caregivers to support seniors in their homes across Mississauga. If you have experience in assisted living, home care, or healthcare, you could join a team dedicated to improving quality of life through compassionate, personalized care.

Roles focus on assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and helping with household tasks. A PSW certificate is welcomed; mandatory checks and licenses may apply as required by local regulations.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate (if you have this qualification).
• Valid Driver's Licence - G2 or G.
• First aid and CPR certification (must).
• Vulnerable sector police check within the last 12 months (must).
• Caring and Compassionate—you enjoy helping others.
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients.
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance a Plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist with all Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) andActivities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
• Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
• Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
