Job summary

Walmart Canada is hiring a Consumables Associate in Carleton Place, ON to support backroom-to-salesfloor operations, stock merchandise, and help customers with shopping needs in a safe, clean store.

You will greet customers, promote products, assist with locating items, handle returns, maintain displays, and refer issues to a Customer Service Manager when needed. Minimum age is 16+ and the starting hourly rate is $17.75.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and provide customer service.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow store policies.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Assists customers by locating merchandise and promoting products.
• Resolves customer issues and refers concerns to management where appropriate.
• Maintains salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise and setting up displays.
• Ensures proper handling of claims and returns and maintains a safe work environment.
• Receives and stocks merchandise and logs documentation as required.
• Refers service items to a Customer Service Manager as needed.
• Sets and completes modulars and price/label merchandise.
