Job summary

Walmart Canada in Saskatoon is hiring a General Merchandise Associate to deliver excellent customer service, keep the sales floor organized, and support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area. You will greet customers, help them choose products, promote services, and resolve concerns.

You’ll cover sales floor areas, assist with Front End, zone displays, stock, and ensure safety and cleanliness. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns.
• Cover assigned areas of the sales floor and assist with Front End coverage to ensure floor coverage and meet customer needs.
• Zone assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor, move feature merchandise to its modular location, and recover merchandise from other areas of the store.
• Stock merchandise and picks, complete downstocking as required, set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety checks, and ensuring displays/fixtures are secure.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Manages overnight hours effectively and plans ahead to stay energized and focused.
• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory up to 50 lbs.
