Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Barrie is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support daily operations in health, beauty and convenience services. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, scan items, handle payments and ensure accurate receipts and policy compliance.

• Excellent customer service and ability to engage with customers.
• Attention to cashier functions including cash, coupons, and PC Optimum.
• Accurate data entry and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers
• Maintains a neat and organized checkout area
• Greets all customers and displays warm demeanor
• Accurately scans or enters product data
• Accurately accounts for cash and coupon, lottery, and PC Optimum
• Asks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (i.e., facing, signing, labeling)
• Presents proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines
• Complies with health and safety regulations and store policies
• Performs other duties as required
