Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Ontario is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support the checkout area and daily store operations. You will greet customers, scan products, handle cash and coupons, and ensure accurate PC Optimum transactions while maintaining a neat, organized area.

You will also assist with merchandising, documentation, loss prevention, and uphold health, safety and store policies. A friendly demeanor and attention to detail are essential for delivering great service to customers

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers.
• Maintains a neat and organized checkout area.
• Greets all customers and displays warm demeanor.
• Accurately scans or enters product data.
• Accurately accounts for cash and coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum.
• Asks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction.
• Ensures proper documentation with receipts and returns.
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (facing, signing, labeling).
• Follows loss prevention standards and manages cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.
• Represents the store image per Uniform Policy and Dress Code; upholds health and safety rules.
• Performs other duties as required.
