RONA in Ontario is seeking a dedicated store cashier to welcome customers, process transactions accurately, and keep the checkout area organized. You will balance cash at shift end and ensure adherence to loss prevention and safety policies while assisting customers with inquiries and store procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working outdoors when needed.
• Experience with cash registers is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner.
• Process transactions precisely and accurately.
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered.
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding loss prevention and health and safety.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
