Job summary

RONA is seeking a friendly and reliable cashier to greet customers, handle transactions, and maintain a clean checkout area in our Ca nadian store. You’ll balance cash, follow loss-prevention and safety procedures, and support a smooth-running team during shifts.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, detail orientation, and comfort standing for extended periods. Experience with cash registers is a plus, and the role offers opportunities for growth within the company and community

Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently.
Attention to detail.
Comfortable working on your feet for long periods, and occasionally working outdoors.
Experience with cash register systems an asset.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner.
Process transactions precisely and accurately.
Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered.
Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift.
Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety.
Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
