Job summary

RONA in Grimsby, Ontario is seeking a friendly store administration teammate to greet customers, process transactions accurately, and keep checkout stations neat and efficient.

You will create and balance the cash report each shift, ensure adherence to loss prevention and safety policies, and perform related tasks to keep the store running smoothly, with opportunities for training and advancement within our community-focused team.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently.
• Attention to detail.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and occasionally working outdoors.
• Experience with cash register systems an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner.
• Process transactions precisely and accurately.
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered.
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
