Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. is seeking a Custom Homes Plumbing Supervisor to lead residential plumbing crews on multiple new build sites in Calgary.

You will oversee groundworks, rough-ins, and finishing stages, ensuring work meets code requirements and deadlines. The ideal candidate is a licensed Journeyman Plumber with strong leadership, organizational skills, and hands-on experience in custom residential construction.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumber certification.
• Minimum 5+ years of residential plumbing experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, residential construction methods, and codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of plumbing crews on residential new build sites.
• Coordinate and schedule manpower, equipment and materials to meet timelines.
• Oversee installation of underground services, rough-ins, water lines, venting, and fixtures.
• Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes, safety regs, and company standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks; address deficiencies promptly.
• Read blueprints and site plans; liaise with site supervisors and project managers.
• Provide on-site mentorship to apprentices and junior plumbers.
• Track progress and report updates to management; manage issues to avoid delays.

This role involves overseeing groundworks, rough‑ins, and finishing stages, ensuring that all plumbing work meets code requirements and project deadlines. The ideal candidate is a licensed plumber with strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, and hands‑on experience in custom residential construction.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Our Custom Homes Plumbing Supervisor earns a competitive wage of $42.00-$45.00/hr, based on skill level and experience.

STABLE, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

You’ll typically work Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

OUR IDEAL CUSTOM HOMES PLUMBING SUPERVISOR:

• Journeyman Plumber certification
