Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. in Calgary is seeking a dedicated Journeyperson Plumber for our Custom Homes division. You will work on new construction projects, performing rough-ins and ensuring high-quality plumbing installations in luxury homes.

The ideal candidate has experience in high-end residential construction, strong knowledge of Alberta codes, and a valid Class 5 license. We offer a stable schedule, competitive wages, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in new home construction, competent in rough in plumbing.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing installation procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
• Working knowledge of Alberta plumbing and gas codes.
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Attention to detail and a motivation to produce high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Rough-ins, groundworks and installing of new plumbing systems in new homes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals and designer elevations.
• Perform system tests using air and water pressure gauges to detect leaks and other issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures on job sites.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely execution of custom projects.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.

We are offering an opportunity to work in new construction in 3,000-16,000 square feet custom homes where you will be able to work on clean sites and utilize your skills in an environment where people care about and value both how it looks and how it performs. Our Custom Homes Journeyperson earns a competitive wage of $38.00-$46.00/hr, based on skill level and experience.

STABLE, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

You'll typically work Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM.
