Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. in Calgary, AB seeks a Journeyperson Plumber for our Custom Homes division.

This full-time role focuses on new home plumbing, including rough-ins and high‑quality installations on clean construction sites across 3,000–16,000 sq ft custom homes. We offer a stable schedule, typically Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, competitive wage of $38.00–$46.00/hr, and a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, RRSP matching), plus a company vehicle and tool program.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson certification level.
• Experience in new home construction and rough in plumbing.
• Knowledge of installation procedures, equipment, quality standards and safety.
• Working knowledge of Alberta plumbing and gas codes.
• Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Attention to detail and quality-oriented work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Rough-ins, groundworks and installation of new plumbing systems in new homes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals and designer elevations.
• Perform system tests using air and water pressure gauges to detect leaks.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures on job sites.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors and other trades for timely execution.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.

Our Custom Homes Journeyperson earns a competitive wage of $38.00-$46.00/hr , based on skill level and experience.

STABLE, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

You'll typically work Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM.
