Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is hiring for the Custodian role to maintain cleanliness across assigned areas. You will perform janitorial tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure a safe work environment in accordance with company procedures.

The role requires 3–6 months of training or experience; bilingual candidates are a plus. Compensation is hourly with shift-based hours in the Donnacona area, Canada, and opportunities to contribute to a professional team.

Qualifications

Job Overview

The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment

Education and/ or Experience: No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment

Compensation And Shift

• Custodial Lead: $20 CAD- $21 CAD per hour
• Sunday–Thursday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Custodian : $17CAD-$18CAD per hour
• Tuesday-Saturday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Sunday-Thursday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Tuesday-Saturday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
