Job summary

Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) seeks a reliable custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across its facilities. The role is temporary, requires 8 hours daily (40 hours weekly), with shift patterns as required.

Knowledge of cleaning methods, ability to handle heavy tasks, operate custodial equipment, and follow instructions are essential. Applicants will join a CUPE Local 1310 unit and must participate in required training and background checks.

Participation in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all full-time permanent employees, even if currently in receipt of an OMERS pension.

This position is part of the CUPE Local 1310 bargaining unit. The terms and conditions of employment for this position are contained within the CUPE Collective Agreement, including any applicable union dues.
