Job summary

University of Ottawa is seeking five part-time Correctors (CUPE) to support the course POL1502: Politique et mondialisation for the 2027 Winter Semester. Work on the Main Campus, with a total of 70 hours scheduled over the session from January 11, 2027 to April 30, 2027.

Payment at the polar rates: CAD 32.39 or CAD 38.86 per hour depending on student status. Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate, while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

Description officielle du cours:
Examen du phénomène de la mondialisation : ses dimensions politiques, économiques, sociales, culturelles. Rapports entre la mondialisation et la politique : changements dans le rôle de l'État-nation, des organisations internationales, des mouvements sociaux, des communautés locales. Introduction au travail de recherche (ex. : recherche bibliographique, rédaction d'un rapport de recherche ou de lecture).

Nature du travail:
Correction de travaux et d'examens. L'étudiant(e) doit s'engager à respecter l'écheancier de travail établi par le superviseur.

Exigences:
La priorité sera dédiée aux candidat(e)s conformément aux articles 18.5 et 18.6 de la convention collective SCFP.
