The University of Ottawa invites applications for Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor positions in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics for the Winter 2027 session.

Course MAT-1739 Introduction to Calculus and Vectors, Section B, duties include student contact hours on Monday and Thursday evenings, with in-person support. Up to 3 positions; start Jan 1, 2027; end Apr 30, 2027; total 50 hours.

Qualifications

• Student with a minimum of 30 credits in mathematics and statistics and solid understanding of the subject.
• Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies in mathematics/statistics is preferred.
• Ability to work evenings on specified days is expected.

Responsabilités

• Contact with students during scheduled hours (as assigned).
• Support course activities and supervision as directed by the professor.
