AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The Culture Planning Officer is a key member of the Cultural Services Division, responsible for planning and policy work to support the City’s vision for arts and culture as a vital component of building a vibrant, sustainable and livable city.
Reporting to the Manager, Culture Planning and Partnerships, this role will lead culture planning and policy projects; work with interdisciplinary and interdepartmental teams to expand and enrich cultural infrastructure and placemaking in Brampton, manage cultural data collection, interpretation, and reporting; facilitate communication and consultation to support project outcomes, strengthen industry relationships and build strategic foresight; and maintain portfolio administration in alignment with corporate policy.
