Job summary

AdventHealth in Ottawa is seeking a CT Tech I to cover night shifts part-time. You will perform high-quality CT examinations, adhere to ALARA and radiation safety, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging for patient care.

The role requires CT procedures knowledge, infection control, and strong communication in English; provides benefits and opportunities to grow within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CT procedures and scanners.
• Fluent English with reading/writing ability.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
• Knowledge of radiology safety and PACS systems.
• Experience with infection control and patient care in imaging.

Responsibilities

• Infection control and PPE usage as per standards.
• Follow patient identification, consent, and time-out procedures before exams.
• Maintain EMR and PACS documentation.
• Educate patients about exams and maintain workflow.
• Operate CT equipment safely and adapt protocols for all ages.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging.
