Job summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiation Technologist for Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC. The role involves performing CT and interventional procedures under a Radiologist and supporting data entry into RIS/PACS.

You will assist radiologists, input patient data, and mentor student technologists in a fast-paced setting with rotating shifts, contributing to high-quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Performs CT and interventional procedures under Radiologist supervision.
• Inputs patient data into RIS/PACS and ensures accurate imaging records.
• Mentors student technologists and staff trainees during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologists during CT and interventional procedures.
• Enter and verify patient data in RIS/PACS.
• Prepare and position patients; assist with equipment and protocols.
• Rotate through days, evenings and nights as scheduled.

About the Job

Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

This is a Permanent Full Time (1.0) opportunity.

Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating days, evenings and nights.
