Interior Health Authority seeks an experienced Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiation Technologist for Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC. The role involves CT and interventional procedures under the Radiologist, and data entry into RIS and PACS, while guiding student technologists.

The position is permanent part-time (0.74 FTE) with rotating day, evening, and night shifts, contributing to a diverse and welcoming team in British Columbia.

Qualifications

• Experience performing CT and interventional radiology procedures.
• Ability to input data into RIS and PACS.
• Ability to supervise or guide student technologists and staff trainees.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and/or interventional procedures under Radiologist supervision.

About The Job

Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

This is a Permanent Part Time (0.74) opportunity.

Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating days, evenings and nights.
