Job summary

Air Liquide Canada is hiring a certified heavy equipment mechanic to service cryogenic trailers and related equipment at Varennes. You will perform daily and preventive maintenance, manage parts inventory, and uphold safety standards aligned with regulatory requirements.

Required: Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate, valid Class 5 license; experience with cryogenics or pressure vessels is a plus. This role offers a 4-day workweek and a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate (HET) required.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required.
• Experience with cryogenics and/or pressure vessels is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on trailers and cryogenic equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory and document movements in the software.
• Ensure the garage remains safe, clean, and organized; manage hazardous materials appropriately.
• Suggest improvements to reduce costs and enhance maintenance quality.
