Job summary

Air Liquide Canada is seeking a certified heavy equipment mechanic to maintain cryogenic trailers and equipment at the Varennes distribution center. The role focuses on safe, efficient maintenance of engines, pumps, hydraulics, and cryogenic systems.

Qualifications

• Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate (HET) is required.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
• PEP card is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on trailers and cryogenic equipment at the Varennes distribution center.
• Conduct daily and preventive maintenance to maximize operational efficiency.
• Maintain parts inventory and document movements in software.
• Keep the garage, storage, and tools safe and organized; handle hazardous materials per regulations.
• Suggest improvements to reduce costs and enhance maintenance quality.
• Uphold safety standards and respond to customer complaints with corrective actions.
