Job summary

Richardson International is seeking a Crush Processing Operator at our Yorkton, SK location. Responsibilities include operating and monitoring the crush plant and seed cleaning equipment, coordinating daily tasks with other departments, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

The ideal candidate will have Grade 12 or equivalent, strong written and verbal communication, and a reliable attendance record. Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Must have grade 12 or equivalent combined with excellent written, documentation and verbal communications skills.
• Good work performance and attendance record and be willing to work rotating shift schedule, weekends and overtime.
• Experience in a Manufacturing Plant environment or experience operating grain cleaners would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor processing equipment, including lubrication and maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate daily operational tasks and activities with other departments.
• Perform housekeeping duties in the crush/seed cleaning area.
• Participate in process optimization initiatives.
• Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rules.
• Participate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times.
• Reporting all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedure.
• Other duties as assigned.
