Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring a Tactical Security Guard in the Niagara Region. The role involves patrolling various environments, reading situations, and responding to incidents with strong observation and sociable interaction.

The position offers part-time hours with a mix of days and nights, and duties include ensuring access control, documenting actions, and coordinating with police when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license and Ontario G driver's license with a clean abstract.
• First aid certification is required; security-related education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.

Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Schedule- Casual leading Full-time (Combination of days and nights. Must be able to work 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off continental rotation. 0600-1800/ 1800-0600 0r 0530-1730/1730-0530)

Location- L8R 3M8

• 1 year of security industry and/or equivalent education background police foundation or secuirty related preferred
• First aid certification required
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
