Job summary

Englobe is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead multi-discipline engineering initiatives for Defence Construction Canada and the Department of National Defence. The role supports Englobe’s Defence operations with projects across Canada, with remote or hybrid work options.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years post-grad and 5+ years in PM leadership, plus a PM certification or professional designation. Travel may be required to client sites and project locations.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, construction management, project management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years post graduation & 5 years of PM experience, preferably in consulting engineering or multi-disciplinary environments.
• Experience managing multi-discipline engineering projects and coordinating internal/external teams.
• Experience with Defence Construction Canada or DoD projects is a strong asset.
• Professional designation, eligibility for registration, or PM certification is an asset.
• Strong understanding of PM principles: scope, schedule, budget, quality, change, risk.
• Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong client service orientation and ability to maintain relationships.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites or meetings.

Responsibilities

• Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety culture in project delivery.
• Manage multi-discipline engineering projects as prime consultant for Defence Construction Canada and the Department of National Defence.
• Lead planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and close-out of projects per requirements.
• Coordinate activities across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural, environmental teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Prepare and review proposals, work plans, budgets, schedules, reports and docs.
• Attend client/project meetings and progress reporting; resolve issues.
• Coordinate subconsultants and internal resources for project delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners.
• Support contract admin, site reviews, billing, and close-out activities.
