Livingston Transportation Inc. in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Driver to perform safe and timely pickup and delivery of vehicles within Canada and the United States, while maintaining log books and providing excellent customer service.

You will load and unload vehicles, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, coordinate with Dispatch, and follow Hours of Service regulations. The role requires a high school diploma and prior trucking experience; Livingston offers a collaborative environment and

Competenze

• Experience operating tandem axle auto hauler tractor with sleeper and Cottrell trailer.
• Proficient in load securement, weight distribution and tie-down techniques.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Mansioni

• Load and unload cars, trucks and vans as required.
• Responsible for pickups and deliveries through the designated locations (local, inter-provincial and US).
• Prepare condition reports and verify orders for accuracy, ensure the client has signed all electronic applications or necessary documents.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer.
• Report to Dispatch on a daily basis for loads and instructions, maintain regular communication with Dispatch to ensure that customer needs are met.
• Maintain an electronic log and other applications associated with the position.
• Follow all Hours of Service regulations.
• Follow all speed and traffic regulations.
• Report damages to cargo and truck immediately to the Manager/Supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures.
