Job summary

AEC CanAm, the cross-border wholesale division of Auto Export Corporation, is seeking a motivated buyer of pre-owned vehicles. You will source from Canadian dealers, appraise cars, and negotiate purchases to hit margin targets.

You will spend most weeks on the road visiting lots and auctions, coordinating with the Associate Director and Wholesale Sales Rep to align inventory with live US demand.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in wholesale buying or dealer trade-desk appraisal
• Strong grasp of used vehicle valuation and wholesale pricing
• Sharp eye for condition, strong negotiation, self-motivated
• Nice to have: OMVIC, auction platforms knowledge, valuation tools, dealer network

Responsibilities

• Source and buy pre-owned vehicles from Canadian dealers and auctions
• Appraise accurately and negotiate purchase prices for target margins
• Build and maintain dealer relationships across Ontario
• Spend most time on the road visiting lots and auctions
• Track US wholesale pricing and CAD/USD movements
• Match inventory to live US demand with the team
