Job summary

Bison Transport Inc. is seeking an owner-operator for long-haul Canada/U.S. routes. Expect to be on the road 5–7 days at a time, averaging about 20,000 miles per month, and to handle 50 lb lifts if needed. A DEF-equipped tractor and valid Class 1/AZ license are required.

Southbound trips may go into the US, northbound into Canadian provinces, with daily dispatches and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Reliability and safety are highly valued at Bison Transport.

Qualifications

• Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system.
• Must be eligible to drive in the U.S.
• Must be reliable, flexible and punctual.
• Strong communication skills and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Long-haul positions on Canada/U.S. routes averaging ~20k miles per month.
• Be on the road 5–7 days at a time.
• Lifting of 50 lbs+ may be required.
• Regional freight possible depend on dispatch.
• Must maintain timely payroll and dispatch readiness.

Job description

$3000 Sign on Bonus. Earn up to $35K/month. Get Paid On Time. Every Time. This open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul position requires you to be on the road 5 to 7 days at a time averaging 20K miles per month.

• Southbound freight could depart into any of the lower 48 states
• Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories
• Required to drive B.C. Mountains, highway 1 & 3 12 months a year
• Required to drive on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months of the year
• Required to drive in California, and U.S. Mountains 12 months of the year
• Required to be available for dispatch 24 days a month
• Regional freight might be required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Must be able to haul all commodities

Candidate Profile:

• Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
• Must have a qualified team partner
• Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
• Valid Class 1/AZ License is required
• Must be eligible to drive in the U.S.
