Job summary

Futuristic Transport Ltd. is seeking professional Owner Operators to haul Canada-USA freight lanes with safety and compliance as priorities. Independent contractors will manage long-haul routes across Canadian provinces and U.S.

states, maintaining logs, inspections, and on-time deliveries. Qualified drivers will hold a valid Class 1 CDL, pass pre-employment checks, and possess cross-border work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License
• Clean Driving Abstract and professional safety record
• Valid Passport and eligibility to work in Canada-USA cross-border operations
• Clean Criminal Record Check
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening and compliance checks
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid U.S. Visa or ability to obtain one (we assist in getting one)
• Previous long-haul driving experience
• Knowledge of FMCSA and Canadian transport regulations
• Experience operating refrigerated (reefer) equipment
• Knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation technology

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe loading, transportation, and delivery of goods and services
• Conduct daily pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Accurately maintain logbook/ELD records
• Ensure proper cargo securement and handling procedures
• Submit all required documentations (BOLs, delivery receipts, inspection reports)
• Maintain equipment in safe and roadworthy condition
• Adhere to company safety policies and industry regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates
• Maintain compliance with all Canadian and U.S. transportation regulations, including Hours of Service, border procedures and safe driving practices in varied weather and traffic conditions

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of freight throughout Canada and United States while maintaining compliance with applicable transportation regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities
