Job description

As the CRM Specialist - Segmentation, you will be the centralized point of contact and subject matter expert in customer segmentation. You will be responsible for driving marketing innovation through data transformation and customer targeting strategies. You will leverage customer data to develop highly targeted and personalized marketing campaigns that increase engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value. Led by the Manager, Marketing - Email, this role is suited for someone with a deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Design and implement advanced customer segmentation strategies; refine segments based on insights and campaign performance.
  2. Analyze customer data to identify trends, generate insights, and recommend strategies to boost acquisition, retention, and cross-sell. Collaborate with Research & Insights to centralize marketing data.
  3. Work with channel teams to launch targeted omni-channel campaigns; monitor and optimize campaign performance.
  4. Create workflows and documentation for customer segments and campaigns; maintain a library of targeted offers.
  5. Partner with IT and Digital Product teams to define data needs, prioritize transformations, and contribute to CRM roadmap and data migration.
  6. Improve customer data accuracy by optimizing match rules, identifying data quality gaps, and recommending data enrichment strategies within the Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  7. Establish audit and governance processes; ensure compliance with data privacy regulations; coordinate permissions with Legal.
  8. Define KPIs, conduct cohort and performance analyses, and optimize personalized campaigns; monitor industry trends for innovations and strategic opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business or Digital Marketing with 3–5 years of CRM and customer segmentation experience, preferably in retail.
  • Bilingual in French is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and journey mapping across in-store and digital channels.
  • Excellent analytical skills; proficient in tools like PowerBI, Excel, Google Data Studio, or similar.
  • Experience in statistical analysis, data mining, qualitative reasoning, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
  • Knowledge of data integration, AI applications, encryption, anonymization, and data privacy compliance.
  • Understanding of data unification for a comprehensive, single customer view.
  • Proven collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and project management experience.
  • Attention to detail, especially regarding data accuracy and integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business insights tools.
  • Availability to work onsite three days a week at our St. Jacobs office, in line with our hybrid working model.
