Job summary

Tech Talent International (SI) seeks a Critical Integration & Data Architect in Montreal to lead the design of integration platforms and data flows. You will shape API-first and event-driven strategies, govern data models, security, and observability, while guiding implementation teams in a large modernization project.

You will work across DevOps, Security, and Operations, contributing to governance and architecture reviews to ensure reliability and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in architecture or integration.
• Experience in mission-critical transactional environments.
• Strong experience in APIs, Kafka and distributed architectures.
• AWS cloud experience and Kubernetes.
• Excellent ability to influence and provide technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define the architecture of integration services and data flows.

• Establish data contracts and exchange models.
• Participate in availability, scalability, recovery, and resiliency choices.
• Coach development teams on integration best practices.

We currently have a role as an Critical Integration & Data Architect with our large consulting client, working for a large modernization project for a public sector, crown corporation in the Montreal area.

Role: Critical Integration & Data Architect

Type: Permanent or Long Term Contract

Location: Hybrid - Montreal, QC -(2/3 days per week onsite)

Salary: Base salary ranges from $140,000 - $160,000 (depending on experience) + 9% bonus + 4-5 weeks paid vacation + 6% RRSP matching + benefits + sick/personal day + cell phone allowance + discounts for public transit and may other perks

Contract Pay Rate: $100 - $120/hr (freelance/incorporated)

Language Requirements: English & French

Key Info: Candidates must be based out of Quebec
