Tech Talent International in Montreal is seeking a Senior Integration Platform Engineer for a large modernization project with a public sector crown corporation. The role is hybrid (2/3 days onsite) and focuses on building and operating real-time integration services.

Candidates should bring 7+ years in backend/integration, strong Java/Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS and Kubernetes experience, plus knowledge of DevSecOps and observability. English & French required; Quebec-based preferred.

Qualifications

7+ years in backend development or integration.
Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.
Significant experience with Kafka and event architecture.
AWS and Kubernetes experience.
Experience on high availability and high transaction volume systems.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and modern observability approaches.

Responsibilities

Develop robust integration and microservices services.
Design and implement Kafka flows.
Develop data transformation connectors and mechanisms.
Participate in automated and performance testing activities.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in the analysis and resolution of incidents.
Implement observability, logging and alerting mechanisms.
Optimize service performance, resiliency, and stability.
Actively collaborate with architects, analysts and operations specialists.

We currently have a role as an Senior Integration Platform Engineerwith our large consulting client, working for a large modernization project for a public sector, crown corporation in the Montreal area.

Role: Senior Integration Platform Engineer

Type: Permanent or Long Term Contract

Location: Hybrid - Montreal, QC -(2/3 days per week onsite)

Salary: Base salary ranges from $120,000 - $140,000 (depending on experience) + 9% bonus + 4-5 weeks paid vacation + 6% RRSP matching + benefits + sick/personal day + cell phone allowance + discounts for public transit and may other perks

Contract Pay Rate: $90 - $110/hr (freelance/incorporated)

Language Requirements: English & French

Key Info: Candidates must be based out of Quebec

Role Overview

Develop, evolve and operate critical integration services enabling real-time data exchanges between business systems, digital platforms and partners.
