Job summary

SKYSERVICE BUSINESS AVIATION is seeking a capable leader to manage a team of aircraft maintenance engineers, ensuring airworthiness and timely completion of maintenance projects at our Ontario facilities.

The role requires TC M2/M1 certification, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate parts orders, troubleshoot issues, and maintain rigorous safety standards. A completion of Aircraft Engineer College Program is required; relocation benefits may be offered.

Qualifications

  • Valid Transport Canada M2 and/or M1.
  • Ability to supervise a crew of maintenance employees.
  • Confident team player with demonstrated leadership capability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and possess excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of aircraft maintenance engineers (give them proper instructions, distribute and balance the workload, inspect the work performed, reinforce the application of safety standards, comply with company policies and ensure proper discipline of the team).
  • Ensure timely completion of all maintenance projects as needed.
  • Perform the paper work required in ordering all necessary parts and take the necessary steps to ensure delivery of parts on time.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving assuming hands on role as necessary.
  • Complete all logbook entries, work orders and crew Passovers.
  • Ensure the airworthiness of all aircraft maintained by Skyservice FBO.
  • Flexible work schedule (day, nights, and evening).
  • Assume all duties of the Coordinator in his absence.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
