Job summary

Air Transat is seeking a Crew Assignment Coordinator to ensure flights are staffed and scheduled in compliance with regulations. You will manage crew rosters, bookings, and daily schedule changes, collaborating with teams to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 1–3 years in airline scheduling, knowledge of crew planning systems, and strong English/French communication. A fast-paced environment and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years in airline scheduling or operations.
  • Experience with complex schedule management is an asset.
  • Knowledge of crew planning systems (AIMS/RADIXX/ACES/Sabre) is a major asset.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Organizational, collaborative, autonomous and rigorous work style.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; bilingual French/English required.

Job Description

Purpose

The crew assignment coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring that all Air Transat flights are adequately staffed. As an expert in Canadian regulations, they ensure that all schedule changes also comply with collective agreement requirements. They will ensure positioning changes during all irregular operations.

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of flight crew operations.
  • Daily management of AIMS production schedules.
  • Transport and accommodation bookings for crews.
  • Management of daily changes (following FSN messages, modifying crew schedules).
  • Daily monitoring of staffing versus operations.
Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in an airline.
  • Experience in complex schedule management, an asset.
  • Knowledge of AIMS, RADIXX, ACES or Sabre, a major asset.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Organizational skills, collaboration, autonomy and rigor.
  • Ease with the MS Office suite and various technological tools.
  • Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written*).
Additional Information

*A good command of French is required for positions in Quebec. The person in position will have to communicate frequently in English, orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients or other stakeholders, both in Quebec and internationally.
