Responsabilités

• Performs crematorium duties per Arbor’s Operator’s Manual.
• Maintains crematorium areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Completes paperwork and manages storage of cremated remains.
• Loads and operates cremation chamber and monitors process for complete cremation.
• Packages cremated remains and labels containers accurately.

As a Crematorium Operator at Bayview Crematorium located in Burlington, Ontario, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to families during their end-of-life journey. You will oversee and perform all aspects of crematorium operations, ensuring the utmost dignity and respect for the deceased.

Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities:

• Experience working as a crematorium operator would be an asset but is not required.
• Computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Good working knowledge of Mosaic
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A team player, with a positive attitude and the ability to multitask and set priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail with a consistently high level of accuracy.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities:

• Performs all crematorium duties in accordance with Arbor’s Crematorium Operator’s Manual.
• Maintains crematorium by ensuring that all areas are swept, washed, dusted, vacuumed and disinfected.
• Completes all necessary paperwork and maintain storage system of all cremated remains.
• Places casket in the cremation chamber through loading device, sets cremation chamber and monitors cremation process to ensure a complete cremation.
• Processes and packages cremated remains into containers and ensures all containers are identified accurately.
