Job summary

Bank of Montreal in Halifax is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to analyze credit information and support lending decisions for a portfolio of clients. You will help prepare credit summaries, assess risk, and ensure compliance with bank policies while delivering excellent client service.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure loans, negotiate terms, monitor portfolio performance, and identify cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of credit or lending experience in corporate banking.
• Bachelor’s degree in business-administration, finance or accounting.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Knowledge of credit risk and regulatory requirements.
