Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Credit Analyst to analyze credit information and support lending decisions for Commercial banking loans and credit solutions within an assigned client portfolio.

You will make credit decisions and recommendations in alignment with bank policies while delivering exceptional client service and collaborating with Relationship Managers to grow client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in credit or lending in corporate or banking environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Specialized knowledge from education or business experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit information and assess client creditworthiness.
• Prepare detailed credit summaries and risk profiles.
• Support credit granting decisions and negotiate loan terms.
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with policies.
