Roofmart is seeking a Credit Coordinator in Brampton, ON for a 6–12 month contract. You will support all credit functions, manage credit documents, invoicing, cash receipts, and collections activities.

This role reports to the National Credit Manager and requires strong credit knowledge and experience with Equifax/TransUnion. The position offers a competitive salary of CAD65,000 per year with benefits and opportunities to contribute to a growing national organization.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary education is required.
• 3+ years Credit experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and Windows applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous, metric-based decision making experience.
• Strong credit report knowledge.
• Equifax & TransUnion experience.
• Energetic, organized, confident and positive.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new customer credit documents for review.
• Set up customer credit & file documents.
• Manage and audit manual invoices daily; review branch on-hand count monthly.
• Ensure orders are released within set parameters.
• Support Quebec & Western Canada with order releases.
• Maintain up-to-date customer contact information.
• Process approved credit limit changes.
• Provide required documents and maintenance forms.
• Process customer returns and issue debits with GM approval.
• Process EFT payments & MCR.
• Review ownership changes and prepare documents.
• Make account changes per parameters.
• Notify branches of NSFs.
• Enter collection notes when promises are made.
• Issue invoices for miscellaneous transactions.
• Manage documents and filing; ensure proper maintenance.
