The faculty comprises four departments: Health and Physical Education, Education, Child Studies and Social Work, and Nursing and Midwifery, offering various degree, diploma, and certificate programs.
The Department of Education invites applications for sessional contract instructors starting in Fall 2025. The department offers a four-year Bachelor of Education Elementary degree.
We are seeking a contract instructor for Indigenous Perspectives in Education, beginning September 2, 2025, ending December 22, 2025. The course is integrated with Teaching Social Studies and requires collaborative teaching and assessment. The available section is:
Applicants should hold a Master's degree in Education or equivalent, with a Ph.D. preferred. Recent teaching experience (1-3 years) in K–12, preferably K-6, along with relevant undergraduate teaching or professional experience, is required. Indigenous candidates are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate must provide academic transcripts and a vulnerable sector police check. Failure to do so will rescind the employment offer. Applicants should submit a CV, references, and evidence of teaching excellence.
