Description

This position performs credit reviews and applications for customers. This includes the production of a credit application, credit review and credit grading. This position is responsible for the thorough and accurate analysis and assessment of the creditworthiness of the bank’s customers as well as the overall credit portfolio.

Prepare accurate and timely credit applications for annual reviews, renewals, and ad hoc monitoring of existing clients. This includes developing financial models, conducting stress tests, and analyzing financial and industry data.

Evaluate financial statements of current and prospective borrowers, assess industry and economic trends, and forecast long-term project outcomes to determine credit risk.

Conduct in-depth risk assessments and apply sound judgment in line with the Bank’s credit policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on borrower exposures and facility details to department leadership and management.

Monitor credit-related events and financial disclosures, ensuring timely communication to relevant Bank personnel.

Collaborate with Relationship Managers to understand borrower needs and transaction details.

Investigate and respond to Credit Department inquiries, particularly regarding changes in bilateral loan conditions.

Safeguard the Bank’s credit quality and overall risk position.

Coordinate with account managers and clients to obtain financial reports and fulfill specific documentation requirements.

Produce special reports and conduct industry research as requested by department heads or management.

Analyze the credit portfolio to evaluate credit quality, concentration risks, and performance trends.

Perform portfolio reviews, including stress testing and sensitivity analysis, to assess resilience under various economic scenarios.

Assist in preparing credit portfolio reports and monitor key metrics, limits, and risk indicators.

Support the development and refinement of documentation standards, risk acceptance criteria, and policy exception frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance.

Handle ad hoc requests related to credit portfolio risk reporting and analysis.
