Job Title : Contract Credit Analyst

Location : Toronto, ON

Contract Duration : 6 months

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong experience in financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit evaluation, particularly within the banking or financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor existing credit accounts and identify potential risks or deterioration in credit quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures.
• Support the onboarding and periodic review processes for clients, including documentation and due diligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or a related role.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, credit scoring models, and risk metrics.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; experience with credit systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to EDD / KYC processes.
• Familiarity with Canadian banking regulations and credit frameworks.
• Experience working with clients in Ontario or across Canadian markets.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00 / hr.
