Job summary

MacEwen Petroleum Inc. is seeking a Credit Administrator to manage a small portfolio of accounts, contact customers for payment, and run credit files for approval. The role is based at the head office in Maxville, Ontario, reporting to the Credit Manager.

You will respond to inquiries, enter changes, and support CSRs and division managers in credit matters. The position emphasizes accurate data entry, effective communication, and soundtrack to maintain timely payments.

  • Strong computer skills, and ability to leverage technology to efficiently run the department.

  • Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact.
  • High degree of proficiency in the use of Microsoft suite of software.
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle competing deadlines and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries, assist customers in the status of their account and move along or action any discrepancies that arise.
  • Enter new accounts and any changes to existing accounts accurately onto the system.
  • Provide divisional support to the CSRs and Division Managers on Credit inquiries.
  • Maintain the public inquiry email inbox for Credit with forwarding any emails to the appropriate division/people.
  • Send out Credit Letters for Divisions, as they are requested.
  • Assist with yearly Budget run and inquiries on Budget.
  • Back up for the Cash Application position, will include deposits and clearing of payments.

Description

OVERVIEW:

The Credit Administrator is responsible for performing a variety of Credit and Administrative duties within the Credit Department. They provide frontline service and support with communication into the Credit Department, in a timely manner. Additionally, they will maintain a small portfolio of accounts.

The Credit Administrator is required to:

  • Maintain a small portfolio of Accounts, contact these customers for payment and follow up, if needed, to ensure timely payments.
  • Run credit bureaus and prepare the credit files of new accounts, for Credit Manager to review and approve.
  • Maintain daily inquiries by emails, logs, and phone for the Credit Department.

This role isbased at our head office in Maxville, Ontario.
