Job summary

Acosta Group in Canada is seeking a creative Social Media Content Creator to transform brand briefs into engaging short-form content for TikTok, Reels, Instagram, YouTube and more. You will blend video production and editing with storytelling, turning long-form assets into consumer-facing clips while aligning with brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of social media content creation experience.
• Proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
• Ability to remix and re-purpose assets into fresh social formats.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable directing talent and interviews.
• Portfolio or social presence showcasing creative work.
• Strong graphic design and photo/video editing skills (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier Pro, Canva).
• Experience with professional photography, videography, and audio equipment.

Responsibilities

• Produce engaging short-form videos, graphics, and written content tailored to each platform.
• Collaborate with brand stakeholders and Social Media Manager to translate briefs into creative content.
• Adapt existing assets into platform-specific social content.
• Edit and combine assets to build narratives and short-form content aligned with brand guidelines.
• Attend events, capture content, and develop storytelling narratives.
• Represent the brand in video content with confidence and authenticity.
• Monitor and incorporate relevant social media trends.
• Plan content calendars and support integrated campaigns with internal teams.
